You have an interesting take on Election Night. I remember staying in Chicago on a biz trip at a hotel and grabbing a quick dinner at 5 pm Central so I could watch the results come in. The guy sitting next to me, although pleasant, was a Hillary supporter, quite smug and when I gladly told him I voted for Trump, absentee, he smirked and made some condescending remark about how early an evening he expected. I got back to my room and the early news out of Fox was folks like Krauthammer talking about how Clinton couldn’t be stopped in Florida and the “expert’ pollster Frank Luntz babbling about she was poised to win a substantial, even historic, victory. Then I turned to CNN with the “expert” Nate Silver saying Hillary’s “odds” had increased from 70 to 78 percent. I turned it off and tuned into the link on FR for the next several hours with the best real-time reports in home states as well as the NY Times webpage on the election odds with the pointer moving steadily in Trump’s direction. I was way ahead of the tv game until they had to give up the ghost of a clinton win. It was so damned enjoyable to see the looks of glee on the commentators turn to fear, then shock, then despair, then anger (yes, they had “Republicans” but they were virtually all of the sneering Natalie Wallace, Schmidt, Mike Murphy and Spencer Stevens variety of Trump haters (some guy named Dowd who worked for the Bush family and looks like Mr. Magoo was particularly nasty). You can still see the various tapes of the Election Night coverage on YouTube, the only bad thing is that Fox Business News coverage, with Varney and Dobbs, stops at 1 am before Pennsylvania is declared.
Initially Drudge was linking to the results from some website I can't remember. But around 9PM, he switched his link to the New York Times, that showed the percentages of a Trump victory rapidly increasing.
I would have loved to have been in the New York Times building that night!

I saw a car on the freeway the other day with a Resist sign in a window.

That’s nothing. In my food store, I saw a magazine on the rack that was all ABOUT Trump and Russia, with an evil looking Trump on one side of the cover and Putin on the other. Really, fellas?
I wouldn’t be surprised to see alt-reality pop up as their newest fad, utterly denying reality and living their lives as if Hillary Clinton won the election.
I stopped reading after the headline, when I saw this was published in the Washington Post.
That is the one that did me in..took a long time to get through..
We move closer and closer to a socialist revolution. This country is so divided and hateful, Soros must be proud. He and his lackey, Obama have done a fine job.
Was a very bad morning. One where I knew I was basically finished with the GOP also.
It was Romney’s to lose and he did. After McCain. Pfffft!
Thanks for sharing that. People made up their minds and no amount of fake news or polls was going to change.
Ryan is sickening.
We think Hillary Voters are ignorant, irrational, uninformed Socialist Liberals who can’t control their emotions.
They think we are Irredeemable, Deplorable, Haters, Nazis, Stupid, mostly White Troglodites who lack compassion and empathy.
A Woman I ran into yesterday took notice of my TRUMP 45 Vanity License Plates (and loves Trump) told me, it’s like we are from two different Worlds.
Democrats are LAW-LESS because Republicans are BALL-LESS!!

Big woop. They cheat and win, then pay the fine.
Should be, if found cheating, toss the returns from the whole state.
I meant to say, if there are more registered than eligible statewide, then toss the state.
How does that differ from how liberal New Yorkers view EVERYBODY. They considered everybody who does not live in Manhattan to be nothing but an undifferentiated bloc of subhuman troglodytes.
People in Manhattan think the world ends at the Hudson River and if you cross it, you fall off the end of the earth. Talk about an arrogant, narrow-minded throng of pretentious elitists.
I had that song open on another tab.
Same version even.
You are so freaking awesome.
