This is a common tactic for Liberals, these stories about things they "overheard" or "saw on someone's phone." I remember that homely chick on Young Turks on Election night claimed she overheard two white men in line waiting to vote "bashing" Mexicans, blacks, muslims, etc. And of course she bravely told them to shut up.
