The challenge is accepting the premise without expecting every single fact to be 100% accurate. The videos produced by this guy are for entertainment purposes. He’s sort of a modern, and entertaining version of John Stossell.
And this means that he DOES manipulate data or skew the story to cause incorrect inferences. A really good example of that is his episode on glasses. It is mostly accurate, but creates an illusion that is more hyperbolic than real.
The information in his weed video is mostly accurate. And he doesn’t even really get into the most sinister part of it: The medical and insurance industries trying to stifle the message about the health benefits of medical uses of the drug. I just got back from Seattle where a friend is a survivor of stage four cancer. The Marijuana story he tells is fascinating - as are the rest of the first hand stories (and a few second hand) that I got from others.
I think that if medical marijuana was allowed across the country the health insurance crisis might just disappear. I used to see this as a crackpot issue, until I had been exposed to way too many testimonials. And not just about how it worked, but how doctors responded to it working (they were not happy, and unreasonably so).
His videos on why hospitals are so expensive and why mamograms are a waste are also eye opening and interesting.
Just don’t assume he thinks he’s god and everything he says is 100% rock solid evidence. If that was my litmus test, I’d never have voted for Reagan, much less, Trump. And I’d trust no book or documentary. They are all flawed, especially the ones like these that are primarily entertainment. But there is a lot of truth in them.

BTW, it is not effective to tell someone they are full of baloney on a subject when they have actually experienced the “baloney”. Your credibility suffers.

Who is armed in the situation?
It is a question of basic safety for both parties.
How you equated that with a terrorist/hostage situation is a mystery.
Now that I look at it, Fotki may be a pay site only now. I’ve been paying a long time. You do have a private option with them.
Is that how you treat concealed or open carriers? They’re armed, too.

That’s not what I asked. In the presence of a non-cop who is legally armed, do you show recommend showing the same abject submission that you recommend showing a cop? If not, why not?
Listen to a Baltimore radio station in the mornings. Lot of conflicting info. (WCBM. Informative but mixed with a bit of fun. Local DC radio, WMAL, fell apart after Andy and Grandy left.)

You beat me to it, but I would recommend anyone who hasn't already read it, get the book and read it. The movie is pretty good, but the book is better.
