On behalf of my late father and my family, I am denouncing Senator Jeff Flake and his new book, dishonestly titled, Conscience of a Conservative. Since entering the Senate in 2013, Jeff Flake has, time and again, proven he is part of the indulgent hypocrisy in Washington. While he waxes poetically about conservative principles, his Conservative Review Liberty score is an abysmal 53%, also known as: “F”. In 2013, I watched first-hand as Flake refused to sign a letter pledging to defund ObamaCare, among his many betrayals to conservatism. Jeff Flake is neither a conservative nor does he have a conscience.
As every conservative leader knows, my father, L. Brent Bozell, Jr., ghost-wrote Conscience of a Conservative for Barry Goldwater. While the Goldwater Institute may own the rights to the book’s title, neither the organization nor Senator Flake have the right to unjustifiably trade on my father’s work. Conscience of a Conservative is the greatest selling polemic in history, and Senator Flake is trading on its reputation to shamelessly promote himself and disguise his own conservative deficiencies. My father would be appalled to see this fraud as the author of the so-called “sequel,” which it most certainly is not. The media need to know, when reporting on Senator Flake and his “book,” that the author is a deceiver out for personal and financial gain. I also call on my conservative brethren to denounce this impostor, who dishonorably claims to speak for conservatism, in the strongest possible terms.
Bozell wrote the book "Conscience of a Conservative" for Barry Goldwater.
Bozell is angry that lying slime ball Sen Jeff Flake is releasing a book titled "Conscience of a Conservative."

I truly despise Jeff Flake! After he won the nomination to keep Kyl’s seat my name somehow showed up on his mailing list and I was deluged with emails from him. Even so, the guy looked like the real thing as far as being a conservative went. So, I donated...about three times! What an idiot I was. The guy wasn’t in the Senate for 10 minutes before he moved to the left of John McCain. And now he has the audacity to STEAL the title of Barry Goldwater’s book. What in the hell would a snake in the grass, sh*t eating globalist like Jeff Flake know about Conservatives or a conscience???

19-221. Statement on recall in Arizona
* A. Prior to a primary or any election, a candidate for the office of United States senator, or representative in Congress, may file with the secretary of state a statement addressed to the people as follows:
* “If elected to the office (here name the office) I shall deem myself responsible to the people and under obligation to them to resign immediately if not re-elected on a recall vote”,
o or: “If elected to the office (here name the office) I shall not deem myself under obligation to the people to resign if not re-elected by a recall vote.”
* B. The secretary of state shall give the statement to the public press when made.
19-222. Pledge to resign subject to recall
* A. A United States senator or representative in Congress who has pledged himself to the people and under obligation to them to resign immediately if not re-elected upon a recall vote shall be subject to the laws of the state relating to recall of public officers, and may be recalled and his successor elected in like manner as a state officer.
* B. The laws of the state relating to recall of state officers and recall elections are made applicable to the recall of a senator or representative.
