Odumbass paid them to keep premiums lower, Odumbass paid people to buy them.. what’s wrong with this system?

Current cost of Obamacare: $400,000 per ‘insured’

“Trump will be blamed for this.”

Yep - I am already hearing it from liberal friends/family members. And trying to argue facts with people who live by feelings is impossible!

And the media will continue to spin it in order to protect the legacy of their great and mighty O-Bambi!

Well, they have to keep driving the working stiffs in the Middle Class into the ground so their CEOs can be paid $20,000,000 to $35,000.000 a year in salary, stock options and bennies. Sweet….for them.

The problem is that if you buy your insurance privately vs. Obamacare, the private insurance prices are following the exchange prices. I found that out when they first instituted Obamacare. The California exchange wanted over $1300 per month to insure Hubby and me. We were buying it through private insurance for around the same cost. If you watch, every time premiums go up for Obamacare they also go up for private insurance. We lived it.

There aren’t many that many people that pay full fare. Something like 8M nation wide. Probably be even less after these rate increase announcements. They don’t have much political clout. I’d just go without if I lost my employer coverage..

I’m not in favor of any kind of socialized health insurance. Not even the Medicare I enjoy.

Why do we not have socialized vehicle insurance or socialized home insurance?

Note in my first sentence I avoided the terms “medicine” and “health care.” Medicine is what you take to get well. Health Care is what your Doctor(s) provide. Neither term has anything to do with health insurance.

There are a few states that force everybody to go through the exchange. In most states the only reason to go through an exchange is if you think you might be eligble for a subsidy.

My rates effectively increased by 70% since ObamaCare took effect.

My pre-CrapCare plan would now cost $23k instead of $15k annual. And we’ve lost access to critical facilities.

Make the scumbags in Congress pay!!! Terminate CongressCare now!

There will be no havoc.

Only 6.4 million people have 0bamacare. Out of over 320 million people.

This whole thing is so overblown, it’s crazy. We have Freepers going nuts over nothing.

6.4 million out of 325 million (current number) = 0.019 = 1.9% of the entire US.

Obamacare enrollment is only part of it. It’s impact on rates and insurance choices is getting more and more catastrophic to the nation. It will reach a “critical mass” point where congress will have to act extremely fast with SOMETHING.

The figure I’ve seen are higher. The ~11M on exchanges, 5.5M off exchanges. The off exchange people are the ones that have their heads handed to them on a platter.

I’ve seen reports that many with employer covered insurance favor obamacare as an insurer of last resort. I Personally don’t think it very useful for that. If you get laid off, your trying to figure out how to keep homes, auto(s), and etc. It certainly useless for people living paycheck to paycheck.

I don’t know what that means.

I will throw this out: I know several people who saw massive changes in their employer provided insurance rates. The cost has to be absorbed somewhere. In many cases it is the employer jacking up the rates considerably.

Everybody that pays for their own insurance should go down to their representatives office and demand to see them to give them a copy of the bill.

I can’t understand why the hell it goes up so much when the deductibles are do damn high you never get a chance to use it. I’ve paid 50,000 in premiums in two years and not made one claim. For years and years we had what I thought were obscene rate increases of 6 to 8%. Now it is more than 25% a year and as high as nearly 120%. What the hell changed? Are the damn freeloaders paying absolutely nothing for premiums and deductibles and living at the doctor office and hospital?

What the hell is going on?
