Frances first center for deradicalization is set to close after less than a year, the government announced on Friday.
The Pontourney center in central France was inaugurated in September 2016 with the aim of working with young people to convince them to turn their backs on extremism.
Officially labeled a center for Reintegration and Citizenship, it was targeted at 18-30-year-olds who had been exposed to radical ideologies, but the Interior Ministry said on Friday that the experiment has not been conclusive and that the center would be permanently closed.
The center had capacity for up to 25 people, who were accepted on a voluntary basis and were able to undergo education and internship programs of up to ten months. However, it had been sitting empty since February and only welcomed nine people in total none of whom completed the full program.

Even the one center is like throwing a single Mentos into a sewer.

Not good. The French government cannot identify the strengths in their own culture, worth forcing on newcomers. The counter reaction will be that much more harsh, and primal.
Anyone with a brain has seen Macron’s En Marche is the
French left dressed up asan old woman and a young man.
The break comes over economic matters. The Germans have bought time to compete in a global economy, the Chinese have bought French premiere cru vineyards, the young will see Macron as a sell out.
That this nation of sorry cucks would even set-up such a place tells you that France is dying.
We have no stinking problem!
Deradicalization is like trying to teach monkeys to stop throwing 4 kinds of bodily emissions at spectators.
About as effective as drug rehab.
