plurality of Republicans say President Donald Trump received more of the popular vote in 2016 than his Democratic rival, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
According to a new Morning Consult/POLITICO poll, 47 percent of Republican voters said Trump outpaced Clinton despite her nearly 2.9 million-vote advantage after all the states certified their election results.

"Nearly half of people who said they voted for Trump (49 percent) said he won the popular vote. Four in 10 Trump voters said Clinton won that tally."
Voter fraud and voting by non citizens is so prevalent that we may never know for certain.
I agree. Voter fraud was/is very prevalent.
Who cares? It’s like arguing over whether the Patriots or Falcons gained more yards in the Super Bowl.
Of course the Democrats could PUT THIS TO BED by simply helping Pence with his voting integrity investigation.
...but, for some reason, they just don’t seem to want to do that.
Not only do I think Hitlery only won the popular vote because of illegals and fraud, I think Hussein won his second term the same way.
I have never believed that either Bill OR Hillary did
And if the Popular Vote was the criteria for winning, then Trump runs a completely different campaign. He didn’t bother with the States he knew he had no chance of winning.
I have no doubts whatsoever. I am 100% sure that the Clinton Fraud Machined ginned up enough Fake Votes in California and other super-blue states to create a Popular Vote Halo.
Even Hussein was surprised he won in 2012..
But: Russiarussiarussia
She won the vast majority of the illegal immigrant vote and almost all of the fraudulent votes (dead people votes, double votes, vacancy votes).
Voter fraud in Los Angeles county California alone could account for a majority of the difference the demo-rats received in votes during the last Presidential election.

Something like 13 million or more?
Next question - how many of them voted for Hillary?
Something like 5 million?
Next - Hillary supposedly won the popular vote by about 3 million, so?
That means that if my answers are correct Hillary actually got the popular voter through voter fraud not including all the regular voter fraud like dead people voting.
So, Trump actually won the popular vote, too.
Strip away the illegals, the double voters, and the graveyard voters, along with the outright fraud, and President Trump STILL came out on top.
THIS, this is why we have an electoral college vote system.
Her vote margin was based on only LA county and four boroughs of NYC!
Hillary got about 4.4 million votes than Trump in California.
But what is little reported in the media, is that California continued counting votes for weeks after election day.
Hillary was ahead in Calif. by about 1.5 million votes on election night.
How did she gain over 2 million more votes when they did their final canvass and vote tallies?
Did activists pad her vote total in California, to tie into the meme that she won the popular vote??
While there’s no question that Hillary carried California easily, the size of her margin is stunning. And the fact that it kept growing by leaps and bounds after the election was over is very suspicious. But it will never be investigated.
“Who cares? Its like arguing over whether the Patriots or Falcons gained more yards in the Super Bowl.”
Every American should care.
Voter fraud and voting by non citizens in large numbers is destroying the integrity of our elections and our Republic.
The false narrative of zero voter fraud and a huge popular vote victory by Clinton undermines our system of government.
If I remember correctly, Donald Trump was ahead in the Popular Vote until CA was added to the count.
I live in CA, but if they want to leave the Union (Calexit), the Democrats will be hard pressed to win the Presidency again.
This is true and this is what nobody ever talks about. At least the Democrats who are bitching never talk about it
Campaigns would be run differently if the goal was to win the popular vote regardless of which states those votes come from.
Under our system the goal is to win a majority of electoral votes, which means winning individual states.
