MADISON - Foxconn Technology Group will announce at the White House on Wednesday its plans to bring jobs to Wisconsin.

Company officials have talked about a massive investment in the United States that would create thousands of jobs. They have visited Wisconsin and other states in recent weeks as they consider their options

Wouldn’t the new employees pay local, state and federal taxes that offset at least in part any incentives.

That's generally the claim when packages like this are announced. I have no idea how often that actually happens.

It will cost them the revenue they would have gained had the subsidies not been in place.

If the company locates in another state or country without the incentives those revenues would be unrealized.
