Democrats blame Trump for Obamacare's failure
American Thinker ^ | J. Marsolo

Obama and the Democrats passed Obamacare on a straight party vote without any Republican input or votes using a parliamentary trick by Harry Reid.  Among other lies, Obama promised that premiums would be reduced and everyone would keep his doctor.  The basis of Obamacare was to force young healthy Americans to purchase expensive health insurance for coverage they did not need and to have taxpayers pay insurance companies to subsidize premiums for low-income Americans.   The health insurance issues could have been, and still can be, resolved by specific laws dealing with specific issues.  For example, allow insurance to be sold across state lines, allow consumers to choose coverage, increase the amounts in health savings accounts (HSAs), allow for payment of premiums using HSAs, allow deductibility of all health costs and premiums from gross income, enact tort reform to limit punitive damage awards and non-economic losses, use VA hospitals to treat uninsured and those with pre-existing conditions, and others.

They can say it all they want but everyone knows it can’t be true. The rats own the present system.

McConnell is trying the same.

Among other lies, Obama promised that premiums would be reduced and everyone would keep his doctor.

Republicans are promising premiums will be reduced, everyone will have coverage, and it'll be much better than Obamacare. Obviously they didn't learn from Democrat mistakes.

And the Republicans will own Trumpcare. I'm not sure they're in for any picnic.

The VA system cannot accomplish its primary task of treating our veterans adequately. And he wants to overload it even more?

Trump finally said repeal Obamacare or do nothing and let it fail. This has sent the Democrats into a panic because Obamacare is their program.

I think it's Republicans who are panicking. It didn't take more than half a day for enough GOP senators to announce opposition and shoot it down.

well someone in a position of authority needs to refresh the voters memories on how ObamaCare came to be. I don’t mean just tout that it sux but explain the numbers and whats going on. Trump needs people on the MSM shows that can effectively get the message out.

“The VA system cannot accomplish its primary task of treating our veterans adequately. And he wants to overload it even more?”

The VA system has more than enough taxpayer dollars and resources to treat veterans and more.

The VA system’s problem is that it has a lazy, corrupt, politicized bureaucracy running the Department.

They are correct. The ACA was a dishonest, marxist step in a 10 point plan for single payer, socialized healthcare for the hemisphere.

It required many follow up steps to increase scope and funding, concurrent with massive immigration and social upheaval. Trump is not permitting the plan to proceed as conceived. Or as Ordered. Soros?

Exactly why it should be totally repealed shredded, burned, destroyed, obliterated and replaced with legalized free market insurance because any smidgen of Obamascare that remains will be blamed on Trumo when it fails, he will own it. I want to see health insurance get as low as car insurance and then we can smash it in the face of the left, but then of course they will take credit for it.

Voters like everything about Obamacare except:

1. The cost, and
2. The name.

Republicans understand this. President Trump understands this.

What President Trump has promised is everything in Obamacare that you like but cheaper and better and with a different name.

Republicans are not panicking.

A few establishment Republicans want to keep Obamacare as it is and want Trump to fail. The Democrats also want to keep Obamacare as it is and want Trump to fail. Trump and the American people are being sabotaged by this group of corrupt liars.

Truth is passe. If enough people believe the earth is flat, then by golly, the earth is flat. Same for any belief. Truth is incidental, always.

That the press is able to pin blam on the party in power partly explains why the GOP prefers to be the minority party.

Obamacare was always meant to fail. It was meant to take the most advanced and most successful health care system in the history of the world and put it in the hands of corrupt Democrat politicians.

The Democrats are trying to dishonestly put the blame on Trump and destroy the healthcare system forever.

The socialist-democrats are directly responsible for destroying the US healthcare and health insurance industry.

Every single democrat who voted for the obamacare monstrosity owns it.

The democrats single-handedly created NAZI style death panels that their messiah obama whole heartedly endorsed.

And even if the spineless gutless GOP cowards refuse to do anything about it, the socialist-democrats still own it.

If the gutless spineless republicans refuse to sort this out, then come 2018, they can start looking for a non-government job.

America elected President Trump as our CiC, and as our US CEO.

Congress needs to get its shit together and fix the problems that they have created.

Or, losing a congressional race may involve some pols swinging from lamp posts.

The 10th amendment says so.

“everyone would keep his doctor”

I think Obama said you could keep your doctor.

Obama was pretty much correct too, provided you had money to pay the doctor after paying the high Obamacare premiums.

With a typical Obamacare deductible of $5,000, the chance of an Obamacare plan paying any doctor was slim unless you needed surgery in a hospital in any given policy year.

With astronomical Obamacare-level deductibles, you rarely would benefit financially by seeing a doctor other than your own.

I thought it was ‘deemed’ passed. There was no vote in the house.
