That's a blanket statement that's just not true. He manages to get itself re-elected handily, but I do not know a single person that has ever voted for or even doesn't detest Graham. I have no idea where his votes or money come from, but we are seemingly helpless to rid ourselves of him.

Don’t feel bad. In North Carolina we keep reelecting Burr who toes the party line. Plus we elected Thom Tillis who doesn’t believe restaurant employees should be required to wash their hands ( https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/in-the-loop/wp/2015/02/03/the-next-public-health-debate-hand-washing/?utm_term=.5124548769b6 ) and whose position on healthcare in the recent debates is, ““I’m supportive of anything right now to get to 51 votes”.
Quite frankly, the entire GOP membership of the Senate doesn’t equate to the intellect, courage, or patriotism of one of the founding fathers. No wonder the nation is in rapid decline.
