South Carolina's problem is open primaries where RATS cross over and vote for linda. If not for open primaries, linda would be gone.

Funny, I completely missed that.
Swamp creatures’ zeal for amnesty and lawlessness is a tacit admission that they have failed utterly to attract legal voters using old fashioned means like persuasion and actually representing constituents. Creating huge mobs of grateful and loyal voters (they hope) with a snap of the fingers beats the hell out of begging during fundraising and town halls.
It’s easy to be cavalier about a million Mexicans invading SC or other states when Senators spend 90%of their time in DC.

Don’t feel bad. In North Carolina we keep reelecting Burr who toes the party line. Plus we elected Thom Tillis who doesn’t believe restaurant employees should be required to wash their hands ( https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/in-the-loop/wp/2015/02/03/the-next-public-health-debate-hand-washing/?utm_term=.5124548769b6 ) and whose position on healthcare in the recent debates is, ““I’m supportive of anything right now to get to 51 votes”.
Quite frankly, the entire GOP membership of the Senate doesn’t equate to the intellect, courage, or patriotism of one of the founding fathers. No wonder the nation is in rapid decline.
