Virginia McDonald's employee refuses to serve uniformed police officer

Scott Naff, an officer for the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, reportedly paid for his food in the drive-thru line, but was allegedly refused the food when he got to the window. Naff’s wife, Cathy, told the newspaper that the employee saw the uniform and told her husband: “I ain’t serving no police.”

That employee should be fired immediately and McDonald's should apologize and give a certificate to the policeman that is good forever for any order from McDonald's.

I used to work at a McD’s and every one of us would give the officers their food for free.

It wasn’t official store policy but heaven help you if the managers found out you didn’t.

I had a buddy who worked at a McDonalds on a university campus.

He’d give the city cops free coffee, but refused to serve it to university police officers.

“Free coffee is for REAL cops!” he told them.

That didn’t sit well. He moved on soon afterwards.

If I was the policemen/women, I would go to where I was appreciated. There are many eateries that are better than McDonald's and none, in my opinion, that are worse. I go to the 7-11 and get a pack of cheese crackers and a Coke before I go to Mc Donald's.
