In the past, a conservative would make a proposal, the media would lose their minds and accuse them of being *gasp* a CONSERVATIVE and they would sheepishly apologize and stop....
Unless you were a liberal, and then the media would ask you to proudly proclaim how conservative you were! It seems like the only people standing up as proud conservatives were lying liberals.
Until Trump.
Now, all the usual stuff is not working.

Next to
(Daniel Greenfield) "...while we were playing by the rules of dignity, collegiality and propriety, the Left has been, for the past 60 years, engaged in a knife fight where the only rules are those of Saul Alinsky and the Chicago mob."......Evan Sayet is just as entertaining and knowledgeable about his subject.

IMO, Trump is a pragmatist. It just means that he is conservative in his outlook on most things. Pragmatists tend to empirical data to decide an issue, not like libs who feel they can get to the correct answer based on their feelings about the issue.

I feel the need to fix the article title :
Evan Sayet: Trump Is Not the Typical Conservative Republican He Fights and He Wins
Though conservatives by and large, respect and appreciate what he is doing to make America great again, I'm not sure it would be accurate to place him under the conservative banner. I don't know if even he would appreciate the title / if he considers himself to be a conservative. But ... regardless ... he has this capital-C conservative's unabashed support.

I voted for Trump because of his 'America first' platform. Obama and Hillary are Deep State hacks who set out to undermine America by hogtying small businesses through excessive regulations, loading our courts with progressive extremists, transforming our military into a social experiment, flooding the world with Islamist refugees, WEAPONIZING OUR FEDERAL AGENCIES AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, etc., etc..
The alternative to Trump was global cabal hacks, bought and paid for by George Soros and his ilk. Trump represents America's last gasp against the Deep State who is STILL trying to remove him from office. Their media promotes outright LIES and distorts reality. It's Trump against the world and I admire his courage for confronting this threat.

I just watched the Bill Whittle interview of Evan Sayet...fantastic. It really clarifies and explains what has been going on. I've never understood why liberals are so focussed on tearing down western civilization and elevating barbaric societies to our level. This completely explains how, if everybody is equally stupid and cannot think critically, if everybody believes in nothing, then nobody will fight for anything, war will end and we'll all be kumbaya happy blobs of mush. Thanks for posting.
I just checked our Santa Clara County Library and, naturally, find that they do not have his book The Kindergarten of Eden. I just purchased it on Amazon.
The YouTube video of Sayet speaking to the Heritage Foundation on 4/16/13 is worth watching as well.
