Even in the first few weeks of Army basic training they pass recruits thru a live fire obstacle course to address fight-or-flight or startle response problems. Just terrible bad judgment. He shot across his partner who was driving the car, and out the driver’s window. The driver, who had a far better view of the approaching woman, saw no need to take any action. We find out too late that this man should never have been a policeman.
