When urban police are menaced and threatened into passivity at SIX pm the night belongs to the mobs and thugs.

I wonder when police will get tired of being scapegoats for leftist politicians?

Police commanders made the decision not to make any arrestsNo wonder the citizens of Philly don't respect them.

That's an old picture.
I remember seeing that picture a couple of years ago concerning another "isolated" race riot.
Nice that things are better now isn't it?

Another thing that I've noticed that I find hard to believe is simply a coincidence.
Have you ever noticed that all these "flash mobs/riots" are estimated to be about 500 or 1000.
I've always found it odd that the number of participants in these things is usually the same as the number of rounds in bulk packaging available for most popular ammunition loadings

Officers said glass bottles were thrown at them. Publicly available videos on social media show the teens surrounding officers in their vehicles, hopping on top of cars and generally taunting police. Police commanders made the decision not to make any arrests, as to not escalate the situation, and the crowd disbursed within in few hours. Mailmen have trouble with dogs because the dogs get used to the idea that they can bark with impunity and the strange person in uniform will go away. It looks like urban "teens" are learning the same lesson. I would not consider a few hours of rioting a win for law and order, and I suspect the minority of decent people in Philadelphia would agree.
