On Sunday, Jay Sekulow, a lawyer for President Trump, appeared on ABC’s This Week to discuss the latest developments in the Russia story, particularly those involving the President’s son and son-in-law. Towards the end of the interview, Jon Karl pressed Sekulow about the concerns of presidential pardons, citing the worries of Senate Democrat Mark Warner. But no matter how many time Sekulow explained that he didn’t know the President’s position on the question, Karl kept insisting he was saying Trump was seriously thinking about it.
“One last question. Senator Warner says he is concern that the President will issue pardons to the key figures in this investigation,” Karl said, prefacing his concern. “Will the President rule out giving pardons to people like Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, any others that are in this investigation?”
Sekulow clearly explained that he had “not had the conversation with the President about any of that.” “But I have not had that conversation with the President on that or what he could or would not do,” he continued, also noting that it was a power granted to the presidency. “But I have not had those conversations, so I couldn’t speculate on that.”
Despite the fact that Sekulow stated three times that he didn’t know where the President stood on the matter of pardons, Karl persisted. “So, pardoning the key figures in this investigation is not off the table? It's something he might do,” he continued to assert.

One of the main purposes of the presidential pardon... is to prevent unjust criminal prosecutions of political differences. The Founders knew it was a possibility. So if I were President Trump, pardons for those maybe caught in prosecutions (really persecutions) of the perpetual witch hunts of media, DemWits and “special” counsels would definitely be “on the table”.
Surprisingly he will be 50 come Jan. 19th. and seems to have NO wife, but does claim two children...so yes...sometime dementia sets in at that age...!!!! I can understand him not having a wife...
Not only is he an instigator but he is butt ugly...( I don't watch any of the alphabet news networks, so I don't follow him...but have seen him at press conferences..typical pushy liberal , who is always RIGHT.)
The older I get the less tolerance I have for this mess and the more curse words come out of this southern ladies mouth...
We all must always remember the democrat media is all about saving the back sides of nobama and shrillery from their jobs of “sending” America down the path to communism. Never forget the untruths told to us, by nobama. AND never forget Benghazi and the lives lost there. Neither the man sleeping in the presidents bed and the one appointed Sec of State didn’t have the interest of helping fellow Americans being killed and shot at by terrorists. Sekulow’s response should’ve been, “Asphinctersayswhat?”

At that point I say, on TV, “Karl, you (fornicating) (anal exit passage)! You didn’t hear what you wanted to hear, so you are saying what you want to hear. You are a phony and a fraud.”

One shouldn’t take any legitimate course of action off the table when under threat from one’s enemies. As president, a pardon is an legitimate option.
Same with this Northern lady’s mouth. Have not said/thought the words more than the last 9 months...ever. Started with Crazy Jill’s crap. Have quite a vocab for MSM.
Trump could end this right now with a big political price. Just grant a pardon to everyone that worked on his campaign. Of course the stupid part is what crime would he pardon them for?
Best they have is process crimes where someone failed to tell the FBI something.
This is what I would like:
1) Trump lets all the prosecutions go on, then gives full pardons to everyone.
2) Then, upon leaving office, Trump gives $5 Million to each person pardoned, so they don’t have to work again, since they’d probably have a tough time finding a job, given how corrupt DC is. And the $5M is just under the estate tax deductible, so they wouldn’t have to pay taxes on them.
So a bunch of Democrat zealots work their little tushes off, but wind up not having a single Trophy to hang on their walls.
