I am too. Though I wish he could articulate himself in a manner that suggests he’s got more than a 6th grade education.
To: plain talk
If you are talking to voters, people with whom you wish to convert to your way of thinking, that’s how you talk. It’s almost like being a coach. He’s always talking positive as a president.
You can learn from the man. His brain is not wash from 71 years of booze or drugs.
The man is as smart as he says he is, and I guarantee you, he is influencing the other leaders in the world.
You get a couple wins in your pocket, like ISIS, and people will take note.
I’VE SAID THIS HERE MANY TIMES. THE MAN IS DOING ALL THE LIFTING HIMSELF. HE WOULD TEN TIMES MORE EFFECTIVE IF HE HAD THE GOP BEHIND HIM.

You cannot reason with someone who thinks that a man's rectum is a vagina.

Naturally. What’s the problem with that? But if he just talks to them, he has to say “on the record,” or it’s a deep, dark secret./s

Oh. Yeah. I guess their journalistic ethics prevent them from reporting the truth.

Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, George W. Bush, Donald J. Trump, and Teddy Rooosevelt, all spoke studiously vernacular English every chance they got. It’s often affected, so as to sound like a “man of the people” a la Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson, and to a certain extent it’s expected that Presidents sometimes sound “folksy”. In Trump’s case, he speaks modified New York without the mispronunciations, but with garbled syntax and needless repetitions, which he probably uses for emphasis. Big freakin’ deal.

I think you’re right. Also, I believe Trump’s style is itself a completely different kind of eloquence with far greater value than what you might find in written news media. Lastly, I’d say the general standard for eloquence of language among 2017 journalists has been subjected to several stages of entropy during the past half century.

I’m glad I don’t have cable. Whether “entertainment” or “news” it’s all a joke and morally reprehensible.
The Republican elites are going to lose congress. NOT GOING TO VOTE FOR ANY LOOSERS EVER AGAIN. Trump is the only decent guy in government and look at the elitist creeps on the right and left are doing to him. If it does not make them rich and powerful nothing happens!

I fear that what you say about the Republican elites losing congress is a very real possibility. Trump Republican voters made him President for a reason. We are in a time right now where the wheat and chaff are being separated and the RINOs will show just whose interest is paramount to serving America, and who is pledged to the agenda of unelected financiers. I am uncommitted to a future allegiance to a party that lets itself be used, to be surrogates, to further the interest of their uniparty and globalists members.

"As horrible as it sounds, when they throw the large sacks of drugs over, and if you have people on the other side of the wall, you dont see them they hit you on the head with 60 pounds of stuff? Its over. As crazy as that sounds, you need transparency through that wall. But we have some incredible designs."
Huh?
That was my reaction as well. Since we can't question whether the President is exaggerating a bit, I can only say that if there are people in Mexico throwing 60 pound sacks of drugs over the border, Jerry Jones needs to get his butt on a plane to Mexico and start signing those people, because I'm fairly certain those folks can throw longer and hit harder than the current crop of Cowboys.

Trump should dump the press completely. Go with citizens asking questions.
