For those who don’t live in NYC, perhaps it is not possible to understand that rich, conniving Russians overrun this town and have for the last decade. They’ve bought up condos all over the place, they are at every party in their ill-cut suits insulting Americans while swilling vodka and generally making asses of themselves. It is impossible to ignore them. And I would imagine at the Trump-money real estate level, it is that much worse.
It is not unusual to talk to a Russian in NYC. They are different than the ones who overran us in the 70s - not Jewish, not poor. These are the oligarchs and they are awful.
