My aunt Eleanor, God Rest her Soul, would say “None of us gets out of this alive”

There is something that is spreading that will make Earth uninhabitable: *slam. Stamp it out, and we’ll all live longer.

...even if we stop burning fossil fuel in the next decade.

Freepers, I know some of you are skeptics, but we must stop burning fossil fuel in the next decade to save the planet. The surest way to accomplish this goal is to use up all the fuel by then. I am willing to do my part.

Seriously, it’s so stupid. We were told this in 1971. I lived ton a bay on the north shore of Long Island. Since that time the high water line is in the exact place

It’s such a hoax

If David Wallace-Wells is lying about sea level rise what else is he lying about?

Claim That Sea Level Is Rising Is a Total Fraud

Sea levels began to rise 18k years ago at the end of the last glacial period. They have risen about 135 meters since then which is an average of 7.5 millimeters per year. That is an average of 750 mm per century (29.5 inches) which is far more than the average over the last century.

From 1880 to 2000 sea level rose about 20 cm or just under 8 inches. Far less than the nearly 30 inches per century average over the last 18,000 years.

Desperation is driving the alarmists to make bolder predictions occurring in shorter times. All you have to do is wait them out to prove how full of sh*t they are. If you have a friend who is concerned, just direct him/her to a copy of Al Gore’s movie 10 years ago, and ask them how many of those predictions came true.

I think that any cult picks up some folks who are easily mislead. No doubt some of the alarmists are sincere in their beliefs. You do have to wonder how they could remain that way, do to the sorts of things you pointed out. The predictions haven’t even come close. They are wildly off base.

If I were a believer, I’d have to be scratching my head by now at the very least.

That’s the problem with Leftist puddin-heads. They tell each other not to listen to anyone who disagrees with them, because it will only be propaganda.

These people are set up to swallow anything the Left says.

It’s kind of tragic really.

Someone ought to tell this idiot that one medium volcano puts out more CO2 than all of mankind has since it started walking on two legs.95% comes from volcanoes and 5% man.

If he really really wanted to do something positive he could jump in the nearest volcano. I’m sure he is a virgin.

LOL.

I suspect it’s more like Man 0.25% and volcanoes the rest.

C'mon, join the party! Fords can do burnouts too, right?

I don't know...I've never seen one.

I usually watch a few of these before a long drive, just to remind myself how fast the fun can go away. ;)

I’ve got three Fords, an Expedition, a Focus, and a Taurus, and I’ve never done that.

Although, one of my boys claims the Taurus will do donuts.

Remind me to ground him.
