More Very Fake News from CNN: Network Analyst Claims Trump Never Made Article 5 Commitment to NATO
Brietbart ^ | 04 July 2017 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 07/04/2017 1:28:37 PM PDT by Lorianne

They never learn. CNN is at it again, pushing more very fake news designed to hurt President Donald Trump with misinformation fed to viewers through its channel. This time, on the morning of the Fourth of July, CNN political analyst Julian Zelizer, also a historian at Princeton University, inaccurately claimed that President Trump never made an Article 5 commitment to America’s NATO allies. The startling and deeply inaccurate accusation came during a discussion about President Trump’s upcoming meetings at the G20 summit, his forthcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and tensions rising in North Korea.

“The United States can’t weaken its commitment to South Korea,” Zelizer said, adding:

That won’t work. That won’t help the situation. This has been a central ally in the effort to put pressure on North Korea. It’s the same as our efforts to engage China. So this is a place where there could be actually considerable tension with Russia. Look, there’s something very important President Trump has to do, actually, and it is to affirm his commitment to NATO—something he has not done. That’s a big factor in creating an alliance that will strengthen our ability to…

When asked in a follow-up by CNN’s Fredricka Whitfield—who did not correct Zelizer’s inaccuracy—if that’s something he thinks might be “potentially happening” on Trump’s upcoming trip, Zelizer again peddled the fake news.

“I don’t know if it will happen,” Zelizer said. “But I think it’s actually quite urgent. I think it’s something Putin needs to hear. For all the bluster, I think it’s something he has not said. And I think it would be very helpful to the administration.”

This is a leftist media classic move. They want to try and force Trump into making a big deal out of being committed to NATO so that some jerk like the Muzzie mayor of London can then start agitating to have the Brits call an attack on a database that's already been hacked a hundred times (and access to sold as many) by everyone from script kiddies to Wall Street manipulators an act of war that requires all of NATO to declare war on Russia.

Naturally, England will tell the Poles they have their back, just like the did in WWII, with similar results. That should start the rabid Poles towards the Russian border if NATO agrees to go to war or not.

War seemingly started by accident is what the globalists are aiming for. With hot headed jerks who have held the same grudges for hundreds of years leading the way. All that with the cherry of millions of Muzzies all over Europe and none of them with any allegiance to the nations they're bleeding white.

More ramblings from another member of the Intellectual-Yet-Idiot class!!

Nassim Taleb Exposes The World’s “Intellectual-Yet-Idiot” Class

What we have been seeing worldwide, from India to the UK to the US, is the rebellion against the inner circle of no-skin-in-the-game policymaking “clerks” and journalists-insiders, that class of paternalistic semi-intellectual experts with some Ivy league, Oxford-Cambridge, or similar label-driven education who are telling the rest of us 1) what to do, 2) what to eat, 3) how to speak, 4) how to think… and 5) who to vote for.

But the problem is the one-eyed following the blind: these self-described members of the “intelligenzia” can’t find a coconut in Coconut Island, meaning they aren’t intelligent enough to define intelligence and fall into circularities?—?but their main skills is capacity to pass exams written by people like them.

With psychology papers replicating less than 40%, dietary advice reversing after 30 years of fatphobia, macroeconomic analysis working worse than astrology, the appointment of Bernanke who was less than clueless of the risks, and pharmaceutical trials replicating at best only 1/3th of the time, people are perfectly entitled to rely on their own ancestral instinct and listen to their grandmothers (or Montaigne and such filtered classical knowledge) with a better track record than these policymaking goons.

Indeed one can see that these academico-bureaucrats wanting to run our lives aren’t even rigorous, whether in medical statistics or policymaking. They cant tell science from scientism?—?in fact in their eyes scientism looks more scientific than real science. (For instance it is trivial to show the following: much of what the Cass-Sunstein-Richard Thaler types?—?those who want to “nudge” us into some behavior?—?much of what they call “rational” or “irrational” comes from their misunderstanding of probability theory and cosmetic use of first-order models.)

They are prone to mistake the ensemble for the linear aggregation of its components as we saw in the chapter extending the minority rule.

The Intellectual Yet Idiot is a production of modernity hence has been accelerating since the mid twentieth century, to reach its local supremum today, along with the broad category of people without skin-in-the-game who have been invading many walks of life.

Why? Simply, in many countries, the government’s role is ten times what it was a century ago (expressed in percentage of GDP). The IYI seems ubiquitous in our lives but is still a small minority and rarely seen outside specialized outlets, social media, and or the IYI.

Beware the semi-erudite who thinks he is an erudite.

The First Amendment does not protect LIES.

It does actually. The antidote to lies is words of truth.

We don't want some judge deciding what's a lie and then prohibiting it.

Actually, it does.
You can sue for libel in a civil court, but the government cannot prevent people from saying or printing lies.
