We speak English in this Country. If I were to live in a foreign country I would learn the language of that country.

I was fortunate that in all my ‘trips’ to foreign lands (including Tijuana Mexico) ALL the people I was in contact with spoke (or tried) English.
Not that ‘we’ were ‘Ugly Americans’, we had money. They wanted money. Someone in ‘high places’ figured better they learn us etc etc etc....
I can order a beer or confirm price in about 15 different languages, other communications could be handled with a type of ‘sign language’....
We did manage to get properly inebriated, and coupled on most occasions.

I’m sick and tired of going into stores like Home Depot and see signs in English then below in Spanish. Ten years ago our neighborhood was just a typical American suburb.
Now going to places like the grocery store, Home Depot or Wal-Mart is like a free trip to Mexico, Honduras, Haiti and the Mid-East all rolled into one.
It's getting close to the bar scene in Star Wars!

And why is this a problem? English is the accepted language of the US, and anyone who immigrates here (legally of course) needs to learn it. It's not the job of the American taxpayers to set up “Little Mexicos” everywhere so they can feel like they never left home. If home was so wonderful, they should have stayed there.
