NEW DELHI: China has hardened its stand on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) by stopping movement of Indian pilgrims for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra through Nathula Pass. Beijing hasn’t given any reasons for its action, but Delhi suspects that it could be a reaction to Dalai Lama’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh in April, sources here said.

Trump can hit China hard by just two lines of Tweet:

I learned Dalai Lama is in U.S. now.

Oh so compassionate caring Hollywood liberals are sucking up to Chinese.

Richard Gere believes he isn't being cast in major films anymore because of China

Actors who've been away from the limelight usually get a second or third act in their career at some point, but Richard Gere has a not-totally-unfounded claim as to why he's being prevented from starring in films from major studios.

In an interview with THR, Gere explained that it's down to his work with the Free Tibet movement and China. "There are definitely movies that I can't be in because the Chinese will say, 'Not with him"... I recently had an episode where someone said they could not finance a film with me because it would upset the Chinese."

At least it was allowed to be filmed then. I don't see such a film made in U.S. again now.
