Agreed. I think he’s looking for weekend airplay, but the regular anchors are likely already vacationing and the guests are already booked, video packages are already spooled and ready. This weekend is a news dud.

The first vid did come out on Wednesday... then he kept stirring the pot with another release today and he says he’ll go again tomorrow.

Meh. He’s controlled the news cycle with each release, just like Trump does when he tweets. It’s no longer about the MSM news cycle for < 60 year olds, the old paradigm is dead.

What you say is true in the old print radio tv media model. But this is Internet only and therefore takes extra time for tv to catch up to it fer it gets a ton of hits.

I’d say this is a great day to break it, because it’s not 90% of the people who are checked out, it’s 90% of the media. The people are still watching, but the media has no one available to refute O’Keefe. So now everyone will spend all of the long weekend talking to their friends about it, and the media can’t stop them.
That was under the old news regime. You think the MSM is going to air (or even discuss) the O'Keefe video?
Getting it out on Friday means that millions of conservatives will see it on Friday morning via social media (like FR) and will be passing it around to people they know. It will be discussed over the weekend at 4th of July get-togethers.
That’s such common knowledge among even us non-media people, that I can’t but believe that he must have a reason for it. There’s no way that he wouldn’t know this adage.
It’s why President Trump should pull CNN’s press credential TODAY!
