WASHINGTON What do the Antifa radicals have in store for the Independence Day weekend at Gettysburg?
The anti-fascist organization plans to burn both American and Confederate flags in town and to find their local Confederate graves to desecrate.
That last stunt might be more difficult than they think.
According to the experts at Gettysburg National Military Park, there are no Confederate soldiers buried there.

Tell them there are confederate graves in North Korea and that the North Koreans allow them to take posters off the walls for souveneirs.
There will be a lot of people dressed as Confederate soldiers. As I recall there are only one or two Confederate monuments.
How is this not a hate crime, like desecrating synagogues and mosques would be? Not that I ascribe to hate crimes, in principle, but this is what we have.
I thought it was only Turkey that desecrated the graves of people they didn't like.
Will be interesting to see if anything happens. WND is the conservative version of the NYT.
If this IS being planned, the Feds should be prepared to stop it.
That’s within the realm of acceptability but let the KKK desecrate a black cemetery and all hell would break loose.
So tempting to visit Gettysburg... only 1 1/2 hr trip for me.

How are they going to do that?
After tge Battle of Gettysburg, they sent a good number of Union dead to their families, buried many and then took the Confederate dead to the Gettysburg town dump to burn them.
If they want to desecrate the Confederate graves, they they should assemble at the dump.
Confederate KIA’s were put in a mass grave. Southern states came to recover them a few years later.
It was a terrible mess. The bodies were bloating and the stench made people vomit.
ANTIFA - Anti First Amendmenters
There are numerous cemeteries across the South with Confederate graves. Most of the grave’s headstones make reference to the soldier’s involvement. Many of these graves are marked by a small Confederate flag or a steel marker.
Antifa could play havoc at these sites.
Lots of Confederate soldier graves around here. Bring it, Antifa. Oh, thats right...you won’t show up in a “must issue” state. Chicken$h!ts.

The North Carolina monument is located where Pickett’s men stepped of for their ill-fated charge on July 3, 1963.
