Battle of Midway seen as a boon for Navy engaged in a war with the Imperial Japanese Empire.
Because what the Battle of Midway was (and why it’s such a great metaphor for June 27, 2017, or whatever the exact date of the CNN collapse is), was the turning point of WW2 in the Pacific, it was an utter and total defeat of the Japanese Navy (wiping out basically the main bulk of their fleet) and it was a SURPRISE ATTACK by our side (after their dastardly surprise attack) and it was an attack made possible by a double act of code-breaking (the details I’ll leave out of this post because we should all know them by heart).
In a sort of inverted Midway, Trump allowed and even encouraged the leftist DNC media to over-extend the Fake Russian Story in such a way that it became a CODE for the fact that the MEDIA ALWAYS LIES and once that CODE was revealed, the entire nation suddenly sees (SURPRISE!!!) that Trump has been right all along and quite suddenly the great fleet of ships, carrying the great Empire of Russian Collusion Investigations forward, gets suddenly sunk to the bottom of the sea.
Well, ok, I’m straining the metaphor a bit. But you get my point. Sudden surprise attack, absolute victory for our side, turning point in a great war.

Admiral Nimitz had one advantage: code experts had broken the Japanese Navy’s JN-25b code.[37] Since the early spring of 1942, the US had been decoding messages stating that there would soon be an operation at objective “AF”.
It was not known where “AF” was, but Commander Joseph J. Rochefort and his team at Station HYPO were able to figure out it was Midway.[38] The code breakers then picked up a Japanese message that “AF was short on water.”[39] HYPO was also able to determine the date of the attack as either 4 or 5 June, and to give Nimitz with a complete IJN order of battle.[40
