The FBI launched a criminal probe against former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn two years after the retired Army general roiled the bureau’s leadership by intervening on behalf of a decorated counterterrorism agent who accused now-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and other top officials of sexual discrimination, according to documents and interviews.

Flynn’s intervention on behalf of Supervisory Special Agent Robyn Gritz was highly unusual, and included a letter in 2014 on his official Pentagon stationary, a public interview in 2015 supporting Gritz’s case and an offer to testify on her behalf. His offer put him as a hostile witness in a case against McCabe, who was soaring through the bureau’s leadership ranks.

Flynn challenged McCabe and McCabe won, at least for now. I have said it before and say it again: McCabe is a filthy dirty cop who should have been fired with Comey instead of given the Director's position at the FBI. He hosted a gathering of 15 or so top officials at the bureau to say first we F Flynn and then we F Trump. Well, he did indeed F Flynn. What is Trump thinking to keep these scum bags on board? Flynn's only mistake was lying to the VP which cannot be excused. Otherwise he did nothing wrong. McCabe, the dirty cop rides on. Shame on Jeff Sessions and Donald Trump for allowing him to remain.

Depends on your addition, and what you include. But as a tactic, I like to troll bad actors with highball estimates, and make them defend “only” $750,000 etc.

Same with Communists, for example. If say that Communists killed almost 200 million, if they want to debate that it was “only” 70 million, then they have already lost.
