Wow! Welcome to the club. Yes, most docs have no idea what it is. Even the well known cardiologist was hesitant to diagnose it after he ran a bunch of tests and kept saying he couldn’t find anything wrong with my heart. As long as I take the serrapeptase I am pain free.

BS, I live in intractable level 10 pain 24/7/365, for incurable ORPHAN HEALTH ISSUES, PIG PHARMA FINDS NONPROFITABLE TO RESEARCH. I make VERY INTELLIGENT DECISIONS DAILY BASED ON LOGIC. Nor am I a ADDICT! Arthritis Tylenol is the 1st thing I try, if that doesn’t work I’ll add the lowest dose of NORCO 5 mg to lower pain to level 5, where I still Can function. It’s about how much pain you will tolerate. BUT ADDICTIVE NON LABEL USE MEDS ARE BEING SUBBED INTO TO TREAT WHAT THEY WERE NOT MADE TO TREAT, THAT HAVE HORRIBLE SIDE EFFECTS INCLUDING DEATH AND CANCER.

Are you going to believe LYING LSM and SCIENTIST SUCKING OFF THE US TAX SERFS DIME OR FACTS? Right hand in cast following hand surgery, took 4 of those 5 mg NORCO tabs, then started every 5 hrs of Tylenol with Ice Pack.

The idiot who wrote the article had very little knowledge of INTRACTABLE PAIN FOR INCURABLE DISEASES, NO REAL REFERENCES. Blowing ignorance to the public.

I love your guy! I went to a guy similar in Redondo Beach, but he was a chiropractor, not a regular chiro, but he was following some specific practice. He was amazing at getting one’s spine aligned and getting rid of lower back or hip pain. He also asked me to sleep a certain way, which I still do when my back hurts. Clearly, whatever you were trained in, some people really understand the structure better than other practitioners, and we would do well to keep those guys / gals in business!! So many quacks just making their Tesla payments.... ;)

The VA directly pays the provider. I’m anxious to get started. Good luck.

You know you can take it easier. You’re 74 for Pete’s sake. Good luck.

Fascinating. I had cervical fusion - c2-c5 4 years ago, but not for pain. I was losing sensation in my hands/arms and walking like a drunk! (Wide gait also) The mri showed the arthritis was damn close to cutting into the spinal cord.

I work in a hospital, so got a couple of opinions and finally decided to do it. The surgeon I chose is well known for trying everything else first, but with this he felt there was a significant risk of paralysis.

This is an eye-opening article, thanks for posting. I do exercise for my back, doc was very insistent post-op about it. I regained nearly all the sensation in my hands, I walk straight and would say it was successful.

100% agree with this article. I had a microscopic disectomy about 15 years ago. It was a success. But main cause was lack of exercise and too much weight. So I exercise and try to keep the weight off and my back is fine all the time. AS soon as I stop exercising and not watching what I eat pain returns.

Every time i see someone with backpain it's almost always someone overweight.

I started a ketogenic diet just to lose a few pounds less than a year ago and found that many unexpected aspects of my life were transformed by it. I'm young again in energy levels and have zero aches and pains anymore and have no problem engaging in frequent exercise. I sleep so much better and am clearer headed as well, all of that just by cutting out sugars and processed foods.

Ditto...if I fall off the wagon for a few days the aches and pains return.

When you’re talking back pain, it goes way beyond Tesla payments, and gets into the Lear Jet realm.

I should have mentioned that, like my own subsequent heart attack, the “big one” could be in your future.

At least, you’ll be able to recognize it. Don’t let the ER desk hold you up, or the symptoms could ease enough to ignore.
