RUSH: This is actually funny. The media is focused on the fact that the Supreme Court’s gonna hear the travel ban case in October. They’re not focusing on the fact that the court upheld it. It’s amazing. I’m watching CNN during the break, and CNN grudgingly discussing that, yes, the court has upheld the travel ban, but they’re gonna hear the case in October. CNN holding out the possibility that the Supreme Court will side with the Ninth Circuit in affirming the ban’s unconstitutional.
It’s the exact opposite of what is going to happen. As I so brilliantly theorized mere moments ago, the court may not even ever hear this case. This case might be moot by the time October shows up. You know why? The travel ban has a life span of 90 days or 120. It’s either three or four months. The purpose of the travel ban is not the travel ban. The purpose of the ban is to prevent massive immigration by refugees and others while new vetting procedures are explored, concocted, and implemented. And the travel ban anticipates 90 to 120 days to do that.
So at the end of the 90-day ban, theoretically the new vetting procedures would then be implemented, and this case is over with. So the court may have brilliantly postponed this or delayed it to the future at that point where it will be irrelevant and they will never have to hear the case.
But the Drive-Bys are holding on to the last shred of hope because, folks, they cannot stand Trump winning. They just can’t. And Trump is doing a lot of that lately, either in truth or in perception. And of course in Washington, perception is reality.
They’re not the sharpest knives in the drawer to start with, and their blind obedience to a stupid, discredited ideology pulls them even lower.
I’m not tired of winning. Covfefe!

I would presume (hope) that the new vetting processes are well underway in development - nothing the 9th did would have stopped this.

All I know is this...my liberal “friends” on social media have been strangely silent as of late. If they have a shred of objectivity and an ounce of common sense (which is rare in liberals, I know), they likely know that Trump has been correct about a lot of things.
They are all in a shock and deservingly so
Yeah, but the shock is that the vaunted MSM has not changed opinion and there was no ability to stampede the public or Congress (and now SCOTUS) to quickly destroy Trump, overthrow the election, set the stage to disqualify most elections won by GOP and terrify the populace into withdrawing support for POTUS Trump. They salivated at imposing draconian rule against anyone who did not support them.
They do not care what is true or false. They only care for the advancement of their top-down-directed agenda. Most know full well they are led and represented by seditious crooks and they have relied upon them to bully and overrun the entire country.
Back in December, a local donk party officer told me I had “no ides what you are up against.” I wonder if there will be a crisis of confidence in the Party and its leaders that will irrevocably fracture the donks. I do not believe they still command legions of generational donk voters who are innocent of the reality of the democrat party. I believe they are left now with those who have gone along to get along or who are rewarded for doing so even though the entire process is exposed as criminal and unconstitutional.
Unanimous decision.

Not surprised about media hiding it. Only a little surprised that the Supreme Court ever unanimously agrees on anything. But that says a lot about how clear cut this decision was.
