Viral posts claim John McCain has quit the Republican Party.
The facts: Sen. John McCain is still a Republican, despite fake stories that claim otherwise.
A story posted on WashingtonFeed.com says: “Senator McCain has definitely renounced any affiliation with the Republican Party.” It quotes the Arizona senator as saying, “I am and always will be opposed to Donald Trump. In fact, I’ve decided that any party that supports supports [sic] him supports the worst America has to offer. For that reason, I’m leaving the GOP and Caucusing [sic] as an independent with the Democrats.”
FactCheck.org works with Facebook to help identify and label fake news stories flagged by readers, and it was the social media users who flagged this post.

Yeah, to call Trump the worst that American has to offer and ignore the Clintons requires a kind of crazy only Democrats, socialists, communists and anarchists commonly possess.

Anyhoo, not a great Trump fan ... though pleasantly surprised with a lot he as done. Still, he’s let the “we can’t stop doing that, it’ll hurt people” crowd get to him some and the actual/perceived abandonment of high profile promises is going to hurt the Republicans if it keeps up.
Unlike Democrats who have NO memory when it comes to Democrat wrongdoing (short or long term it often seems), Republican voters have long memories and hold grudges.
