The message that sells: Jobs, Security, Justice, and Freedom. In other words, Trump's message. If they were to adopt this message, they would have to explain how to accomplish these goals. That's what they DON'T want to expose. Socialism only works for their base, and would alienate moderates. Additionally, if they were to adopt a mainstream message they would have to publicly acknowledge what Trump is doing to address these goals. And it is difficult to argue with success if you are an unwilling participant. The MSM also knows this and will not cover anything Trump actually does. Democrat (moderates) voters must never know that Trump is actually doing what they really want.
On a side note, if the GOP continues to be silent (going on 10 years), their party is dead as well. Trump saved them by fighting for an agenda.

The Democrats/Progressives, actually they are Communists, rely on lies to survive. They must never be truthful about their agenda because they know it would be completely rejected.
The use of Political Correctness is imperative for them because by using PC, they control the narrative.

The democrats for the most part don’t really care about jobs, security, justice, or freedom. They care about absolute power.
If you set no goals, then you cannot be held accountable for failure to achieve the goals.
They have messages.

Exactly! They don’t have one either. As I stated in my post - If the GOP remains silent, their party is dead as well. Trump gave them a ‘win’ by fighting for an agenda. Reminder - the GOP disagreed with everything Trump campaigned on until they realized there was an audience for it, then they changed their tune. They don’t realize that after Trump’s term(s), they are in trouble as a party much like the Dems.
