Jon Ossoff was a political newcomer entering the crowded race to succeed Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price as Georgia’s 6th District Congressman but attracted some high profile support.

Alyssa Milano and Christopher Gorham, who were in Atlanta filming a new CW project, took time out to campaign for him, even driving voters to the polls during the early-voting period that preceded the first election night.

Georgia Democrat Jon Ossoff raised funds from 8.9 times as many donors in California than Georgia between March 29 and May 31, according to his latest campaign finance reporting.

quote:
He reported 7,218 donations from the state of California and 808 donations from Georgia over the past two months according to Mercury News. Ossoff had over 3,000 donors in the San Francisco Bay Area alone, nearly four times as many donors as he had in Georgia.

quote:
Overall between March 29 and May 31, Ossoff reported $456,296.03 from California, compared to $228,474.44 from Georgia. Ossoff received more than $220,000 from the Bay Area alone. The Mercury News reported that the totals were only a fraction of the actual donations since he doesn’t have to report donations of less than $200.

Milano’s financial guy apparently relieved her of the burden of money, so look for her to get real nekkid again for a big payday. She can’t live without the attention anyway.

I guess Hollywood got confused....they are often confused.....no biggie.

B/c Morning Joe said Ossoff looked miscast as a Georgia candidate.

Joe said Ossoff looked rather like an uncredited walk-on actor from "Reds" ...Beatty's Communist movie.

They need a swift kick in the Oss instead to shake them out of their blind obsessions with Rat Party lies and deceit.

Somebody needs to start running a tab on how much Democrats have spent and lost in elections since the presidential last year. Has to be over a billion.

One of the braindead Black Caucus members said Ossoff was another
JFK......that Ossoff projected that handsome, brash, virile, self-assured
masculinity reminiscent of JFK ....

Ossoff looked in the mirrrr and saw an amazing likeness. He started talking
w/ a New England accent, told people he lived in a "compound," and
ordered "clam chowdah" in a Georgia Tea Room.

If only Ossoff's "Cuber policy" got more attention, he might have pulled it off.

I would’ve hitched a ride with Milano to the polls, and voted for Handel once I got into the booth.

Unlike the cash, the candidate can now be returned to sender.

My new liberal head popper is to ask them how many needy people could have used that $60,000,000 for job training, education, child nutrition, women’s shelters, meals to the elderly, prenatal care for at risk mothers? Instead of handing it over to a few television outlets playing us all for fools...............?

Saying he had a “girlfriend” lost him the crucial pervert vote.

Isn’t this somewhat similar to the Russians (Putin) getting their hands into the 2016 Presidential election.
Why would a “foreign State”, California, be shoveling tons of cash into the special election of a small Georgia district? What influences were they paying for? What Georgia security was breached in return for the millions spent there?
A “Special Prosecutor” is called for.
Far away entities must not be allowed to taint our election process ever again.
California has much to answer to the people.
