The approach has worked better in other places. Canada is a prime example.
The U.S. may have a potential for more belief in a loving Lord (which serves as a contrast to show up hatefulness for what it is) than many other places in the world.
We have to mainstream God and not marginalize Him our own selves. It’s more than “just quoting a bible verse or two.” It’s having one’s mind bathed in a radical new hope, a radical new worldview. It is to be moved to wonder that begins to approach that seen around the early church, before the love of God was turned into a drug on the mart by joining it at the hip to the state.
You have no idea how much time I spend in the Bible. There is nothing wrong with taking joy in your victory. Announcing my personal joy does not take away from my adoration and worship of the Heavenly Father.
Notice I didn't say he was not a homo. He might be and his girlfriend may just be a prop for political purposes. He failed to realize that the 6th District voters have very conservative values for the most part.
