>>The Deep State wants war with Russia rally bad. Trump better call these guys in and put a stop to this.

This is one way to hurt Trump to the quick. Guys are out there dying all over the place and we need definition on the mission, who the enemies are.

I don’t want this forever in Afghanistan either. The Russians got out for a reason.

P.S. I’m not so concerned with who’s side who is on today in Syria. McCain, et. al. are all nothing but foolishness.

We could get into a real shooting war over this.

And Pootie’s doing all he can to help them start one - which is weird because most of Russia’s military ‘might’ is smoke and mirrors that would evaporate in a fight against real opposition and he’d end up looking like a bit of a fraud. Something that power hungry despots tend to avoid.

Many of us voted against Hillary because she was a tool of powers calling for a US enforced “ no fly”’zone over Syria

Well here we are 6 months into a Trump presidency and the same powers are still steering our irrational destructive policy of mideast confrontation with Russia and assisting islamist radicalism as a force for political change

Syria is less threatening to American security than the street wars in Baltimore and Chicago

Why have we not yet stopped supporting McCain’s Jihadis?

Good question...McCain would like nothing more than to start a shooting war with Russia.

We should not be there in the fist place.
It is an Islamic civil war between Sunnis and Shia (and other various and sundry sects and tribes). We have no “side” there.

This is serious s**t. Putin has a huge set of balls and has no problem killing dissidents within his own country, let alone our zoomies.

He has now drawn a “red line” in the sand/air, and Putin is the type to enforce it, as opposed to the wimp Obama.

Not really. Putin will bark. His seals in the west will clap. But in the end nothing will happen because he’s within an inch of losing Nord Stream 2. That is the cornerstone of Ribbentrop-Molotov 2.0 and no way he risks losing it.

There was no “ civil war” in Syria until we tore down the social order maintained by secular governments and facilitated the flood of tens of thousands of foreign jihadists into Iraq and Syria

Until 2010 Syria was a police state with repressive policies toward antigovernment critics - meddling in the affairs of Lebanon, support for antiWest and antiIsrael terror groups - but one where Sunni Shia Kurd and Christian coexisted

Look at the history of Damascus and Aleppo before 2011- and after obama and Clinton’s “arab spring”

Syria became and has remained a pawn in the power struggle between Saudi and Iran, Russia and the West/US, Iran and Israel- theology is just a cover for power wealth and ambition

I respectfully disagree. At the current benchmark price of the oil he exports, his economy is in the tank. His perceived strength is all he had.

He has made a public commitment. He is a Russian. To be perceived as weak is fatal. He will follow through on that commitment.

P.S. Oil trading today at 44. Putin’s economy is pegged to $90 oil.

I do wonder what price oil would rise to in the event the proxy wars heat up into full blown regional wars?
