Daily Mail: “White van driver ploughs into a group of people outside Abu Hamza’s former mosque in London as Muslims break Ramadan fast.” Does this mean the driver was white, or the van was white?
There’s a video making the rounds on twitter of the arrest, looks like a white guy, but it’s not real clear. May be a drunk, or it may be a man who is tired of the BS and acted out.

The Sun and Daily Express are reporting this happened near a Mosque like your story. So, it seems like a retaliatory act on the surface. The story is developing.

“White Van” is a term commonly used in Britain to describe the types of small commercial vans typically used for deliveries and by tradesmen - plumbers etc. They do tend to nearly always be white but it’s a term with a specifically understood meaning.
In the UK, a ‘white van’ is stereotypically associated with a self-employed blue-collar worker with right-wing political views. A ‘white van driver’ refers to this sort of person, probably after he stopped at his local for a few too many.
