Turkey invades Kurdistan (Kurdish region in Iraq) and 30 Turkish soldiers are killed.
One casualty reported by opposing forces.
This is not the first such incursion recently by Turkey.

Turkiye, our NATO "ally" is attacking our actual on-the-ground ally. Unless we proclaim how it is all to be on the ground in the ME then enforce it nothing will wind up beneficial to America. We either have to go all in or get out.
If we permit the reconstitution of the Ottoman Empire then worldwide Jihad will be given a structure and real military training. As we cannot cut off the resources that the West continually transfer to the Jihadists, the Jihad will become real extraterritorial conquest. Turkiye will begin to push back into the Balkans. This will take a couple of years to eventuate and by then Turkiye will have allies in Western European Moslem states.

As of right now, I have been considering the Turks nothing more than the diluted offsprings of Ottomans. So, any report of any dilution in the military population of Turkey, is a good thing.

I think that the “border” they refer to may be a self-declared border, for a breakaway area in SE Turkey.
