I hope she lowers their cash by about $5M! It was blatant lies, and was written not by one person, but the entire editorial board.

I actually read today that it was reporting in the Times itself that debunked that whole map myth.

You know how that goes...the accusation on page one Sunday, the correction or retraction hidden on page 46 Thursday.

“I just hope Sarah has a winnable case.”

She is a very public figure, but I think the 1st amazing win by a very public figure was Carol Burnett who sued the National Enquirer (I think it was them). They ran a piece that claimed she was drunk in public somewhere and this infuriated her. She did win and it was quite surprising.

You know I get it, you’re famous, people get to make jokes about you. Say things that aren’t exactly true. But there’s a long way between a not exactly true joke and a scurrilous lie.

And what the despicable pigs at the Time did was tell a scurrilous lie and I think that could be proved. But, do you have the lawyers who want to put the time in on spec, or do you feel like spending the money to pay them to do it. Those are the questions for Mrs. Palin. The pigs at the Times are betting that she doesn’t or won’t.

I just hope I live long enough to see that paper go out of business.
