I raised in an earlier thread that if Mueller is as provided under DOJ regulations vested with all the authority of a US Attorney and is granting immunity like a US Attorney, then his appointment as Special Counsel may be invalid because the statutory law (which overrides mere DOJ Special Counsel regulations) requires all US Attorneys to be approved by the Senate.

That article, like so many these days...needs to be taken with a grain of salt the size of a salt lick.

Very first sentence: "A high-ranking Justice Department official believes Special Counsel Robert Mueller has granted a complete get-out-of-jail-free-card deal for disgraced FBI Director James Come"

1. An unnamed "source"
2. That unnamed "source" "believes" this happened.

So the bottom line here is we are talking about a theory of an unnamed source.

Just like the damned russian collusion crap, we need evidence...evidence and names. Not theories from unnamed sources.
