BS Rumor. The AG would have to sign off on an immunity deal. Investigators can’t grant immunity.

If true, that would be all Sessions needs to fire Mueller.

And since Comey is off the hook, he now has to tell all about Lynch, PIAPS, Obama, DWS, Seth Rich, Podesta, et. al.

He is the guy who says he knows both Comey and Mueller and Comey directing behind the scenes.

That is truly his only way out of this box.

He has been working for the Clinton’s since Arkansas.

This investigation is going to be focused on Hillary and the gang.

It might be more like they struck a deal and Rosenstein granted it.

Even if true, who really thinks Comey is going to be on the up-and-up. So far, no evidence he would do so.

Then again, if immortality is his goal (I heard one pundit speculate he wanted a building in DC with his name on it), coming clean on the Clintons and Obama would be one way to do it.

....Complete BS....

That’s the way it works. Investigators and police cannot make “deals” that are binding. They can make promises, and even lie to those being investigated, or even already charged.
But, all deals at the Federal Level, which are actually contracts, must be approved by the Attorney General or his Assistant US Attorneys.

I have no idea if your theory is true or not. sounds fine. I question the immunity given to Clinton’s Aides by Comey. wouldn’t Lynch have to be involved? They hid this for months. Sessions should open up this inquiry and into Comey’s status. How could it hurt?

The AG would have to sign off on an immunity deal. Investigators can’t grant immunity.

Not sure about that. Because of Sessions' ill advised recusal Mueller is off limits to him. I can believe that Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller, just might do this.

Immunity is a mere technicality. As we have seen countless times, elites are never be held accountable for anything. They always find a way out. The Swamp protects its own denizens because they don’t want the truth to get out. This preserves the image and controlling power of the ruling elites.

Some are posting this isn’t how it works.

Comey handed out immunity to several Obama officials. Just handed it out. Not in exchange for anything and we weren’t even made aware what laws they potentially broke.

If Mueller has the power to grant immunity, he’ll grant it to his good buddy Comey.

Comey’s now implicated himself as a leaker to the media of government documents (his own memos) and stated that he was asked to collude with Lynch re the Clinton investigation. He did nothing at the time to notify anyone that a potential illegal interference with an investigation took place.

I’d say 90% chance this story is true.

Agree. Cheryl Mills was granted immunity:

The Clinton computer guru granted immunity:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3782222/Obama-administration-granted-immunity-Clinton-computer-guru-deleted-emails.html

Here’s a list:

Now, do you still think Comey won’t get immunity???

Uhhh... what authority does Mueller have to grant “immunity”” to anyone?

In fact what authority hired him and gave him an office, a staff, and a paycheck?

What authority does he report to?
What authority is his oversight, check and balance?

Here’s an article from NBC (fake news, but not exactly someone’s blog) that says the Special Prosecutor can grant immunity:

“Some Republicans have argued that appointing a special prosecutor would complicate those ongoing investigations, especially when it comes to issuing subpoenas or granting immunity to witnesses.”

http://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/18/what-the-special-counsel-can-and-cant-do-with-his-investigation.html

Comey can do a Christmas wish list of all of his potentially illegal activity and include it in his immunity deal given in exchange for his testimony.

Please cite something this isn’t accurate if you continue to disagree with the premise Mueller can do this.

Legally, right now, Mueller is under tight supervision by DAG Rosenstein. Immunity would be under Rosenstein’s authority, and likely also have to be approved by Sessions despite his recusal. There is nothing in Rosenstein’s background to suggest he would be party to immunity grants motivated by politics.
