I have investigated this issue in-depth already. I’ve read quotes from fellow students who were actually friends with both Stanley Ann and Sr. I’ve just never seen anything from one of their university acquaintances who knew they had a relationship.

He is not a citizen according to the Constitution, only according to the government.

The 14th Amendment does NOT make citizens of foreigners just because the were born here. Not according to the men who wrote it, anyway.

Because the courts no longer operate under the Constitution, they operate under pure administrative law. In a nutshell, it no longer has to acknowledge our Right to Petition, because IT can choose to acknowledge whether a petitioning party has 'standing'...or not.

IF Trump can push back the Administrative state, the question of Barry's birth might become a whole 'nother ball game.

I'm fairly certain the head of the Executive branch would have standing, since part of 'faithfully executing the laws' would be insuring they were valid to begin with.

What is the evidence that Stanley Ann wasn’t in HI in 1960? The University of Hawaii records her as a student in 1960. Polk’s Directory lists her as living in the house her parents co-rented with the Pratts:

“In a separate [Polk] listing, Ann S. Obama, Obama’s mother, is identified as a student living at the 6085 Kalanianaole Highway address”

6085 Kalanianaole Highway is the house that Stanley and Madelyn Dunham shared with the Pratts. Not only does Polk list it as Stanley Ann’s home address, Cindy, the Pratt’s daughter, confirmed that SA lived there. Cindy described to David Maraniss the ‘makeshift room’ [read: hallway] SA occupied when she resided at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway.

They aren’t all three lying. Polk conducted door to door interviews. They wouldn’t have listed Stanley Ann as a resident at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway without evidence.

There’s no reason to accuse Cindy Pratt of lying either. Although she confirmed that SA had lived at the 6085 Kalanianaole Highway address, she flat out denied SA was living there during her pregnancy. If Cindy were lying, then why would she destroy Obama’s Born-in-HI myth? Because that’s what she does. In confirming no pregnant SA at the address listed on the BC and the birth announcements, and confirming that SA neither left that address to go to the hospital nor returned to that address with a baby, Cindy nuked Obama’s HI birth story.

There was also a college friend, Kiri Tith, who places Stanley Ann in Honolulu in 1960. He’s the one who also knew Obama Sr, and who says he had no idea that Sr and SA even knew each other, much less had a relationship. How could you accuse him of lying? If he were lying, why wouldn’t he claim he knew SA and Sr were seeing each other? That would have helped Obama. As it is, Tith, like Cindy Pratt, undermined Obama’s story.

At some point the, ‘they’re all lying,’ claim wears too thin. It simply makes no sense.

As to the other thing, if the truth didn’t matter, I’d be a liberal/Lesftist. I noticed decades ago that truth means squat to lefties. They are all about pragmatism—meaning, win at any cost.

Needless to say, I hold a different worldview. The fact that the truth matters profoundly to me is one reason I’m a conservative. I.e.: I value truth not because it invariably brings about a desired political end, but because it invariably obliterates lies. For that reason, it ***always*** matters.

Wife and I are both US citizens, born in Arkansas and Maryland to US citizens, we have two sons born overseas at military bases (Philippines and Iceland). Would you say they are natural born citizens?

Her real name was Joanne Newman aka Elizabeth Ann Duke, on FBI most wanted list, she was part of the underground network tied to Bill Ayers and his wife Dorn. She was tied to Davis, a friend of Newman.

I had to go back and look it up. I got Duke & Davis confused, but both were involved w same people...both on FBI list. Davis eventually got acquitted like Ayers, but Duke got removed by Obama from FBI most wanted list more than 35 years later, WHY? If Duke not his mother by Malcolm X?

Why did Obama go to Cuba to meet with another woman accused of killing a NJ state trooper back in 70s, and suddenly want normal relations with Cuba? She was also part of that same network w Duke, Davis, Ayers.

When I was a Brat in school at MCAS Beaufort, they told us that those of us born overseas would not meet the Constitutional requirements to be president.

I didn't think that was fair.

The simple fact is I don't know, and neither do you, nor does anyone else. Under law Natural Born Citizen" has never been defined save that one time in the 1795 law, which was repealed in 1796.

There was also a "sense of the senate" declaring Panamanian born John McCain an NBC. Not a law, but giving further privilege to Juan of their own. And you and I both know that should he have been elected (God forbid!) the democrats would have used it to undermine his authority!

Until and unless the supreme court or congress sees fit to define it, it will be the subject of endless debate.

Since I believe that that one office, that of the President of these United States, must be free of any hint of divided loyalties, I would say no, a child born in the Philippines (where we have fought shootin' wars) or Iceland (which was a key cold war base) lest our enemies, foreign and domestic, stir up trouble in those countries and put that president in a politically untenable position, no matter anything he does or doesn't do.

I still don't think it's fair, but I think it's sufficiently important that the commander in chief have nothing that can be twisted to damage his authority in times of conflict, that the NBC standard be as restrictive as possible.

Electing someone born a British subject (passed on through his asserted father’s nationality) when the other party was fully neutralized by their FBI files, worked out really well for the best interests of this country, didn’t it?

And just for the record, I'd be a lot more comfortable if the current president wasn't married to a Slovenian. It's not like the same argument would apply if someone put, say, Croatia up to invading Slovenia!
