Remember that Comey said he didn't discredit the bogus NYT story because he didn't want to go down the road of what he said affirming or denying stories, some of it from classified information? That makes no sense. When he decided to leak the information about the "memos", he had a friend hand it to that same NYT which printed the false story, by Comey's own admission. So, judging by what we've seen of his (lack of) character, why didn't he leak the information that the story of Trump involvement with Russia was false?
JMHO, Comey is insane. He's so wrapped up in the coup that he can't come up with consistent, logical stories. And he's so smug and self-assured that those who manipulate him will save his sorry *ss.
I hope the feds go after Loretta Lynch. She would throw Comey under the bus so fast. That's my take, anyway.

They weren’t trying to drive a wedge, they were trying to protect Russia’s pal, Iran... because it’s Kerry’s pal, too.
All of this is about Iran.
Flynn was taken out because of his position on Iran. He wrote a book on combatting Iran [and Russia.]
It’s why the democrats are in black face the conspiracy theory blew up in their face.
