Good Morning and Blessed Lord's Day Deplorable-FReeper-Patriot-FRiends!
Today, June 11, is day 72 of our Quarter 2's FReepathon! Unreal, but that is the sad, shameful truth. Our Quarter 3's FReepathon commences in a mere 20 days!
Talk about never ending FReepathons ... we're about to enter that territory. We're at 89%, not even 90% which brings on the much heralded YELLOW!

These multi-month FReepathons are not fair to Jim, not fair to Jim's dedicated FReepathon Team and certainly not fair to all of you, FR's loyal donors who carry the load for those among us who enjoy and use Free Republic but elect to participate and use us "free."
I wish we knew the screen names of the FReeploaders but there's no telling. I can only point you all to the donor information I have. (See below)
I and others have been wondering should we ask posters of Vanities to contribute $5.00 for each Vanity?
Would it help if we asked all posters of articles to also post a graphic with a link to our FReepathons as a means of getting more members involved in our FReepathons?
It's no secret that Jim's FReepathon Team is down to 3 or 4 full-time members. Manning the FReepathon threads every day for 2 months and longer equates to over 8 months out of every year.

Dismiss me if you like I post on religious threads and stay away from the political threads after getting soft zotted for 8 mos for saying far less about trump than many of the favorites here have said in recent weeks. I was a donor prior to that. There are many other long time freepets that have been run off for failing to kneel at the altar of Trump. Many of them were donors as well. Feel free to ignore what I am saying but you wonder why your fundraising is taking so long, I gave you a reason

You are SO right. I pointed the same thing out 1 year ago and was banned for “trolling” yet my name, Roos_Girl, remains on the list as a monthly donor. Swampsniper, who passed some time ago now, remains on the list as a monthly donor. No way in hell I would donate again with the way I, and others, were treated when we didn’t fall in line. Creepathon taking months instead of a couple weeks like it used to? No doubt!

I’m very sorry, everyone, but our software is buggy, the lists are behind, our hardware is aging, my management skills are sadly lacking, the Trump train was obviously rampaging during the primaries and I had little patience for naysayers, the wheels are falling off our wagon, down for a week, the problems that delayed our upgrade to SHA-256 made our fundraiser fall two weeks behind and the dog ate my homework.
But I found my glasses, found my car keys, AAA brought me some gas and changed my flat tire, the laundry can get the stains out, John got the certificate upgraded, fixed the server, is updating our software has plans to make our system bigger, faster, greater, more reliable, Hillary lost the election, Trump won (thereby saving America), and we’re now working hard draining the swamp and making America great again!!
I apologize to those I hurt, wronged or slighted and I’m sorry for being such a great disappointment to so many, but the Trump Train is moving on and I’m fully onboard. Those who wish to carry grudges and quibble about the past certainly have reason and opportunity to gripe and complain until hell freezes over, but I’m moving on. This train ain’t stopping for nobody and we ain’t looking back!!
We are very grateful for the support of those who are still with us, hope you will continue bearing with us despite all of our shortcomings, and hope those bearing grudges will eventually see their way clear to helping us fight for our freedom.
We’re on a mission from God. We’re putting the country back together again.

But I am kind of curious as to why you don’t have some advertising going on?
The Freepathon and Freepathon threads (and the bumping thereof) are really only advertising aren’t they?
What is the difference?

FR is not a commercial enterprise and we do no commercial advertising. FR is fighting for God, family and country. We don’t allow dissent from our mission. Government hates us. The left hates us.The GOPe hates us. Advertisers would also hate us. I have no interest in getting rich, but do like to pay our bills—on time when possible. We are very grateful for our supporters who have always come through for us. I’m not looking to change. Thanks
