No leader in the region holds more anti-terrorism credibility than Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. President Sisi has challenged all Muslim leaders to denounce the hate within Islamic extremism and rise up to confront evil.

Al-Sisi is a Muslim leader who steadfastly supports the entire Egyptian population regardless of their religious faith. Sisi has stood firm to support Christians in Egypt.

WHITE HOUSE – President Donald J. Trump spoke today with President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi of Egypt. The two presidents agreed on the importance of all countries implementing the agreements reached in Riyadh to fight terrorism, counter extremism, and stop the funding of terrorist groups. President Trump also emphasized the importance of maintaining unity among Arab countries. (Link)

It is appropriate to hold Qatar and its wealthy decadent elite “royals” accountable for their support for the barbaric jihadists and terrorism. However it is delusional and detrimental to ignore the role Saudi Arabia and its Wahhabi loving leaders had in motivating, recruiting, funding and organizing ISIS. The Saudis hoped that the Sunni jihadists would create out of Syria and Iraq a militant Sunni state on Iran’s border and serve as a buffer front line state to protect the Saudis. That dreamed persisted until the Russians, Iranians, Iraqi Shi’ites, Iran and its Hezbollah allies saved Assad and slowly began the destruction of ISIS. The Saudis also had the support of Turkey who they patronized with vows of a new caliphate, the destruction of the Kurds and stolen oil to enrich the corrupt leaders of Turkey. The irony is that what is left of ISIS feels betrayed by the Saudis and they have become an existential threat to the Saudi regime.

Its time for the American people to realize that the Saudi regime was fully aware of the 9/11 plot, did nothing to stop it and should never be considered friends or allies of the American people.
