Well, the other day I predicted Comey would be msart enough to close the lid on all this and get off the stage.
I am happy to admit that I was 100% wrong. Comey managed to double down on stupid, spewing something to alienate everyone. He testified that Lynch, ho he admires so much, attempted to obstruct justice in the Clinton server case. He corroborated Trump’s claim that Comey told him thrice that Trump was not being investigated in the Russians mess, thus undermining the Dem’s narrative. He called the President a liar, over a matter not of fact but of opinion (and opinion where truth is self-evidently on Trump’s side). He admitted to being a leaker of classified information to damage the President. He showed himself to be a liar by claiming his motive for leaking had been to respond to specific Trump tweets — tweets that occurred after the leaking. He showed himself to be a liar or credulous moron when he testified that he had “no doubt” that the Russians were behind the DNC email leaks — even though the FBI never examined the DNC servers themselves and the Democrat’s security contractor backed off their assertions that the Russians were the culprits. He made it clear that he was indeed disloyal to Trump from the get-go and distrusted him before they had ever met, providing full justification for Trump to want assurances of Comey’s loyalty.
I thought Comey’s brain would triumph over his bruised ego, but I was wrong, wrong, wrong. His was the performance of an ego-driven, spiteful, self-righteous sniveller. The media can spin his performance into fool’s gold in the short term, but in the long run Comey has devastated himself and, hopefully, the entire Democrat conspiracy.

Freud would say that instead of sublimating his sexual urges, Comey sublimated his desires to tell the truth. The result was, like any Democrat partisan, had a super-ego that tells lies.
