Liberal MSNBC host Chris Matthews said Thursday the accusation that President Trump directly colluded with Russia to interfere in the U.S. election "came apart" following former FBI Director James Comey's testimony in front of Congress.
In his written and spoken testimony on Thursday, Comey said that he never felt that Trump had tried to impede the FBI's investigation into Russia, even that the president had encouraged it and he suggested that former national security adviser Mike Flynn wasn't at the heart of the investigation.

A couple weeks ago on Fox And Friends, Napolitano was expounding on how wonderful and ethical Comey is and how we can count on him to do the right thing. I was disgusted.

Even before today, it was coming to my mind that Nap in his appearances on FOX might be falling into the Me/again Kelly syndrome. I noticed what I thought to be a change in his demeanor, once he returned from exile.
The guy is looking increasingly slick in his tailored suits and designer hair, and very confident lately. Of course, taken all together his rhetoric has been mostly pro-Trump.
You do have to wonder though, if the ‘Doch boys did have a chat with him on the new direction for FOX. Nap seems to have changed in subtle ways. Hope that I am wrong.

It's starting to dawn on the political establishment that far from being the triumph they had hoped far, Comey's testimony just proved beyond question that there was no substance to the Trump-Russia connection.
Uniparty has fallen flat on its face with this, so now watch their self-proclaimed "elder statesmen" backtrack and try to save face. Some of them aren't very good at it, John McCain has been barely coherent lately.
It will be even better when Trump’s attorney produces the audio tapes. The OAN anchor was asking Corey Lewandowski about the existence of rumored tapes. He said he doesn’t know if there are tapes. I hope there are!
I’m not troubled by the misspellings. Attorneys are notoriously bad at that. I am troubled to the point of thinking it’s fake over the general tone and approach as well as certain claims and statements directed at other possibly involved parties. This was not written by an attorney, even with authentically bad spelling.
Dersh is perfectly demonstrating the difference between a liberal, democrat, and a leftist. There simply is no prosecutable anything in the Trump hoohah. There’s no crime, so there can’t be justification for an investigation, there certainly can’t be an indictment, there can’t be an impeachment. There are vouchers for Depends for Maxine Waters and Mark Warner. And John McCain, wouldn’t want to leave him out. Dersh either has to jump on the anti Trump train or not; but if he does, everything he stands for implodes. Toobin, Nap, are loyal to their employment prospects. Nuff said.
