He could’ve just joined the priesthood. They appear to be more lax about it.

Where is that tiny violin. No, the church should not change its teaching to accommodate public sinners.

Do people not understand what Church is?
Why would or should the Church be forced to accept what their doctrine says is an abomination?
It would be like Black Lives Matters groups being forced to accept and allow cops that have shot and killed black thugs to participate.
Or it would be like forcing anti-gun groups to allow people that are pro-gun to participate.
Why do queers want to be part of the church anyways? It’s completely anti to what they do.
I don’t get it sometimes.

What is it with gay organists?
One here in IN painted swastikas on his gay accepting church so that it would be blamed on Trump supporters.
Notice how all of that crap stopped after about the 5th or 6th one turned out to be just butt-hurt flaming liberals who did the dirty deed

It sounds like he abandoned his faith and went into full on sin mode. Then he sued them over it. Drama queen much?
A man cannot “marry” another man. Since he was there for 17 years, he should have known that by now.

But U.S. District Judge Charles Kocoras indicated in his ruling that the law gives churches more leeway than other employers to hire and fire who they want. All private entities, from churches to business, should have complete autonomy in whom they choose to enter into contract with (or depart the contract.)
Government is not a party to these private contracts and should have no say in how they are executed. I'm glad that a judge ruled in the church's favor, but don't think it ever should have been before a judge in the first place.

The Catholic Church loves the sinner but hates the sin. He was not in any danger of losing his job for 17 years while he lived in recognition of this fact. By “coming out” it was he who chose to dump the apple cart not the Church.

Collette said Wednesday that the decision "flies in such contradiction to the wonderful things that are coming out of Rome. The pope is speaking about unity and love, and here we are creating a church of fear and division."Yes, dear. It's fear of the Lord God Almighty, and division of the sheep from the goats and the wheat from the weeds.
