President Trump’s previous “heads up” to Comey that their meetings may have been recorded looks now like a stroke of genius. Comey is hesitant to lie or juice up his testimony because he doesn’t know what Trump has to shoot him down with if he does.
So as it is being pointed out on the other thread....he ASKED but he didn’t DEMAND

Check any lib site and they’ve been planning on Comey’s testimony being the straw that finally breaks Trump’s back. I have a feeling they’re going to be very disappointed. As another poster mentioned, how long will it be until the Dims accuse Comey of perjury (for not saying what they want to hear)?
Timeline:
Pre-July 2016...Comey investigating Hillary’s email server scandal. Dims hate him and believe he should be removed.
July 2016...Comey announces Hillary won’t be charged with any crimes. Dims love him and talk about his professionalism.
October 2016...Comey announces the investigation against Hillary is being reopened. Dims hate him and many ask that he be fired.
November 2016...Comey says the investigation against Hillary will end. Dims love him, but are angry he started the investigation again.
May 2017...After being fired, Comey says he has “memos” of Trump asking him to stop the investigation into Gen. Flynn. Dims love him and claim this is proof of Trump’s obstruction of justice.
June 2017...Early word is Comey will basically testify to what Trump has been saying all along. Dims expected to be apoplectic.

Sessions and President Trump has a trove of information on him, enough to hang him on Treason...so he’s being very careful...thinking that President Trump and/or A.G. office won’t go after him, no bets here, but there is no one to back Comey up anymore, the Clintons are ready to go down, Holder is going down, Obama is going down, Podesta is finished, Brazill is going down, Blabbermouth is going down...Huma and Weiner are done....no one to help him now...

One noticeable item right at the end....was that Trump wanted to get out that he was NOT under investigation (after being told 3 times).
While Comey said he would do something....and did.....two weeks later he tells Trump to have his people call so and so....since that is how it should be done.
That would have really p**** me off if I was Trump. Why didn't you say that two weeks ago you pin head??

I don’t see anything wrong with a President expecting loyalty from his FBI Director.
“The FBI leadership team agreed with me that it was important not to infect the investigative team with the President’s request”
So who exactly is “the FBI leadership team” that believes the FBI is a separate shadow government that is not accountable to the President? McCabe? Who else?
They need to identified, fired, and, if it appears crimes may have been committed by them, investigated and prosecuted.

I replied that he should give that careful thought because it might create a narrative that we were investigating him personally, which we weren’t, and because it was very difficult to prove a negative.
Oh, this is sweet. Will the networks now cancel all coverage tomorrow? Bet that will occur or they will talk over Comey. What a joke this all has become!
