78-year old Dershowitz as FBI Director? (Older than J. Edgar when he died.) For a ten-year term?

The fear of russia has taken on mass proportions
At root is the fact that there is mass corruption between Russian oligarchs with government connections and various clinton associates and organizations. The hope is that the Clinton/Russian corruption will never be uncovered.

Im always amazed at President Trumps patience and restraint in timing events.
The President could have announced this weeks ago but waited for this moment to act.

Hope he brought his broom and mop.
He will need a fully charged/connected fire hose to clean out the muck and liberal trash in the FBI!

They need something ‘outside’ America to explain why they’ve lost 1000 elected seats in recent years, including the WH to President Trump. They can’t face the thought this actually happened because Americans themselves were rejecting their socialist ideology, that we rejected Obama and Hillary, rejected Obamacare, rejected the Paris ‘deal’, rejected open borders and so on.
They’ve invented this great Russian bogeyman so they can blame their own failings on someone else. It’s what Hillary taught them to do.

HH: This Morning...”I’ve never heard of this Guy.”
I take that as a “Good Thing.”
Hugh is an Irrelevant Slappy.
Trump has yet to disappoint me, and his timing on this is perfect.
GO TRUMP!
Hope that makes you feel better :)

Stellar wind showdown happened in a hospital room of Ashcroft. High stakes drama. --
Triggered by Alberto Gonzalez. Subject was Bush's NSA domestic surveillance in the wake of 9/11.
NSA surveillance is still a topic, but mostly under the radar. I think the public has grown to accept that all of its communications (or as much as can be captured) are in the possession of the NSA. Supposedly, controls on "unmsking" what the snoopers took is good enough, so the dialog has moved to "section 702 compliance."

This story is interesting..and shows '04 is a far different time than 2017 when it comes to the NSA and spying
http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/05/18/james-comey-trump-special-prosecutor-robert-mueller-fbi-215154
This excerpt shows the drama
"Comey knew that Card would have Secret Service protection with him, and he was worried about being forcibly ejected by agents from Ashcrofts hospital room. Ashcroft, weakened from gallbladder problems, was in no condition to sign off on STELLAR WINDhed legally turned the reins over to Comey while he was incapacitatedbut, Comey feared, if the White House could isolate Ashcroft, who knew what it would do? Comey thought fast: Ashcroft had his own FBI security detail, and so he asked Mueller to call ahead and tell them not to allow the attorney general to be left alone. It was, in an extraordinary showdown between the White House and Justice Department, perhaps the single most extraordinary moment of the tumultuous Bush years: The FBI director ordering his agents to resist the Secret Service if they tried to remove the deputy attorney general from the attorney generals bedside. As motorcades converged on the hospital from across Washington, everyone involved wondered: Just how far would this situation escalate"
