Colin Kaepernick chose to "speak out" by insulting our flag, our anthem, our country, and those among our ancestors who died to make and keep America free. I have several ancestors who died in the Civil War, along with several other wars, and somehow insulting them does not start a positive conversation about what professional complainers call "police brutality". I'm glad Colin Kaepernick's career is dead. If someone wants a real conversation, (1) they can be polite, and (2) they can stop pretending that dead thugs who were in the middle of being thuggish are the best examples they can find, unless those really are the best examples they can find.

Mr. King, grow up. Tens of millions of people would think your an idiot if they had time to think about you. Your pal Kaepernick violated the one rule you don’t violate and that is that one about dis-respecting the one symbol (flag) that the tens of millions previously alluded to hold in the highest and dearest esteem.
Your pal Kaepernick is done. Put a fork in him. He will never play again and he shouldn’t. On the bright side, it’s not all bad, the economy is booming and there are lots of concrete trucks needing drivers. He will have to get a haircut though.

I didn’t know who Shaun King was, so I goggled his picture to discover that he’s a fake black racist pig jawboning about nothing he knows anything about.
