If Mr. Musk believes the global warming fantasy, he's not nearly as intelligent as most people give him credit for. He'd better be careful or he'll lose his top cover and government handouts for his unprofitable SpaceX and Tesla businesses.

All these leftist business tycoons scare the hell out of me. How can they be so smart when they believe or claim to believe such drivel?

This guy got rich being a government subsidy leech. Time to kick him to the curb and let all of his wonderful businesses stand or fall on their own.

Good. How does the United States benefit from Elon Musk’s being given the opportunity to influence the Trump administration to further his own interest?

The only reason Elon Musk “joined” Trump’s no power advisory council was to ensure that the Federal subsidies, both open and hidden, continue for his economically non viable businesses. Without those subsidies, they will collapse. Trump probably gave him that assurance when he agreed to lend his name and join. Hopefully he does quit, Trump gets annoyed and the subsidies are cut.

So Musk builds his company, in large measure, on taxpayer assistance, then demands that the rest of us endure crippling, whack-o environmental dictates from the UN or other world body?

Pay us back for your incentives and subsidies, Musk, and then shut up and build your electric cars in the free market unassisted by taxpayer handouts. Impose your own environmental red tape on yourself.

"Tesla is worse than Solyndra."

"Every time a Tesla is sold, we witness a transfer of wealth to a rich hobbyist (most Teslas are their owners’ third or fourth car), while average Americans are on the hook for at least $30,000 in federal and state subsidies. Tesla is more a regulatory arbitrageur than an auto manufacturer."

(Alternatively, if the goal is to waste taxpayer money, the gov't could just give away 100,000 Honda Accords in a lottery.)

Elon Musk is only concerned with getting sweet government subsidies.
He really is a tax parasite.
If he were truly a businessman and a capitalist, he’d find financial backers to take on the risk and fund his projects without taxpayers footing the risk.
But, we see by his whine what he really is about.

Multinational Banks and Corporations Trigger Immediate Angst Over Trump Withdrawal From Paris Treaty…

Posted on  by

Every word we read, every corporate broadcast, every espoused punditry opinion, every angle that’s visible, everything surrounding the Paris Climate “Treaty”, All.Of.It., is driven by multinational banks and corporations who have a vested financial interest.

The Paris Climate Treaty has nothing to do with “climate” and everything possible to do with economics, globalism and the controlled redistribution of economic wealth as constructed through decades of advanced policies of multinational financial interests.

There are factually TRILLIONS of dollars at stake.

When you consider the pontificating pearl-clutching from the financial and industrial elites, ask yourself this very basic question:

If Elon Musk (Tesla), Tim Cook (Apple), Larry Page (google), Mark Zuckerberg (facebook), or any of the myriad of multinational executives really cared about “climate change”, then why are they doing business in China?

I’m sure President Trump would cordially bid farewell to Elon and keep his campaign promise. My concern is Ivanka’s influence in the matter.
