The Media Research Center (MRC) has kicked off a new campaign informing Americans with a list of advertisers that support leftist shows and personalities.

“We are putting the radical left on notice that we are on to them. We know the inside-outside game that radical organizations are playing with their leftist allies in the ‘news’ media,” MRC President Brent Bozell said in a statement. “The radical left’s effort to silence conservative media by targeting their advertisers with coordinated smear campaigns has gone unanswered, but today is the day the conservative movement fights back, but with a big difference: We'll tell the truth. And we'll take no prisoners.”

Kathy Griffins ignorant act, and the constant baseless attacks on the President are not going unnoticed by the voting public.
Just like Hillary’s indiscretions and crimes were not ignored. Nor was her whining at the tech conference today.
.
Democrats are burying themselves.
We don’t need to resort to and sink to tactics liberals use to win. They are self destructing.

In some areas it’s hard to dump the evil giant, AT&T. They now own Direct TV and way too much rural internet access.

I disagree, fully and completely.

You don’t lay off a dangerous opponent when he’s on the ropes. You close in and finish it.

I’d also dearly love to see that whole looserism of “dont sink to their level” wiped from the tactical vocab.

Fight. Fight to win. Fight to win all the way and don’t give a good G** Da** about feelz of the enemy or useless ‘moderates’*.

‘moderates’. Their only purpose in the culture war is to serve as a force multiplier for the domestic enemy, snipe at their own side’s backs and undermine any and all attempts to close with and destroy the enemy.

If these cable corporations are not hit in the pocketbook by their advertisers, we are going to be in an increasing world of hurt. Why else did CNN break the contract with Kathy Griffin? They waited to calculate the push back from their advertisers and counted the loss. It took them 24 hours to decide to Let Her Go, but not before they lost an advertiser.

It’s not “sinking to” anything. It’s a straight-up exercise of rights - right of association, of free expression, of property (where you spend your money).

This particular tactic is quite wholesome as long as it is done truthfully.

I’m with Grimmy. If something works, press the advantage.

Why can't we use tactics that win? Why are we allowing the mainstream media propaganda machine to hit us 24/7? We must try winning tactics instead of sitting back and hoping most Americans figure it out. What is wrong with fighting back? Are we too good to work for our victories?

I agree up to a point; we are still the good guys after all. But yes, definitely attack with every legal tool in the shed and think up some new ones, this is a fight for our very survival as a country. Fight hard, fight dirty (on this side of the law), and fight to win.

In a street or bar fight there are no rules. You fight to win... period. That’s pretty much what this is IMHO.

I’m with you.

If you had poison ivy growing in your yard and most patches of it were gone, or drastically reduced, would you just say “ok, good enough”? No. You would make sure it was completely gone.

As far as “sinking to their level” goes, let’s also not compare apples and oranges. The left objects to the very existence of conservative thought. They object to anything that isn’t lock step in line with their agenda. Speaking for myself, I have no problem with the left expressing views I don’t agree with, but I have a serious problem when they are lying, grossly distorting, and trading in gore and violence (inciting violence, like Griffin). There is no comparison between what Griffin does and what Hannity does.

Of course it is dumb. But, it got O’Reilly canned, on albeit non-political grounds, and affected his advertisers, and now they are after Sean Hannity.

If it actually works for the Left and affects the FOX bo$$om line, and runs off conservative speech, then it would be nice if the Right bothered to show up on the field where the actual battle is being waged and fired back, in kind. Doing nothing cedes ground, only because we aren’t there to hold it.

In my wildest dreams, maybe fighting back will force a truce one day, where media will return to the rules of traditional journalism.
